Our server collects IP addresses from site visitors for the purpose of tracking our own site statistics. LicensedCEU.com does not set any cookies.
Before customers can complete their first course, an online account must be created with licensedCEU.com. In this registration process, specific information is collected. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Name
- Home or Work Address
- Email address
- Telephone Number
- Degree
- License (type, state, number, expiration date)
The purpose of the information we collect is to primarily fulfill requirements made by the Texas regulatory boards for LPC, LSW, and LMFT. Each board reserves the right to randomly audit every Continuing Education Provider. Customer information will be retained for no less than five (5) years, as per the standard set forth by the Texas State Board of examiners of Professional Counselors.
The information we collect may also be used to improve the content of our website by soliciting user feedback; it may be used to notify consumers about updates to our website; and it may be used to inform customers of newly added courses and other opportunities.
LicensedCEU.com values your trust and privacy - which is why the only information that will ever be disclosed is that required by the state regulatory board (e.g. Name, License Number, Course Title) and then, only upon their request for auditing purposes. Names, contact information, license numbers, and any other personal data will never be given away, traded, or sold.
If you do not want to receive any correspondence from us (electronically or physically), you may login to your online account and change your contact preferences or email us at the above address, requesting to have your name removed.
If you believe licensedCEU.com is not following its stated privacy policy, we ask that you contact us directly for immediate resolution. If you wish, or if an adequate solution cannot be reached via direct communication, you have the right to contact your state's licensing board for your particular discipline and file a complaint.
